New
Testament
Give to every man that asketh
of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods
ask them not again. And as ye would that men
should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
Luke 6:30-31
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and
lend, hoping for nothing again; and your
reward shall be great, and ye shall be the
children of the Highest: for he is kind unto
the unthankful and to the evil. Luke 6:35
Be kindly affectioned one to
another with brotherly love; in honour
preferring one another; Not slothful in
business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation;
continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to
the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
Romans 12:10-13
As we have therefore
opportunity, let us do good unto all men,
especially unto them who are of the household
of faith. Galatians 6:10
And be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as
God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:32
Put on therefore, as the elect
of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies,
kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness,
longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and
forgiving one another, if any man have a
quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave
you, so also do ye. Colossians 3:12-13
According as his divine power
hath given unto us all things that pertain
unto life and godliness, through the knowledge
of him that hath called us to glory and
virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding
great and precious promises: that by these ye
might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the
world through lust. And beside this, giving
all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and
to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge
temperance; and to temperance patience; and to
patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly
kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound,
they make you that ye shall neither be barren
nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord
Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things
is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath
forgotten that he was purged from his old
sins. 2nd Peter 1:3-9
