The Law of Sin
by Michael M. Wilson

Hebrews 9:22 says, in fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.  Without blood, or life being taken, there is no forgiveness.  This is why Jesus died on the cross.  If we don’t put the blame on Him, it’s on us.  If it’s on us then death is put on us.  Death is the condition of being without life, the act of dying.  Or the symbol of the final state of the unsaved, and of the power that rules over man in the age of sin.  Life is only in heaven and hell is death.  Because we didn’t put the blame on Christ, the blame is on us when we pass on.  Death is sin, darkness, decaying, torment, fear, hatred, lust, and the list goes on.  Death is anything that has to do with the devil.  This is why we shed our own blood when we die and are not saved.

 What Is In Hell?

 HELL IS A CHOICE

Sin makes up Hell.  Psalms 9:17 says the wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.  If there were no sin, then there would be no hell.  Just as the people make up the body of Christ, so does the people make up hell.  Hell is for those who choose to go.  Life is a choice, either we accept it, or reject it, its up to us.  If we accept it, then we go to heaven, if it is rejected, then hell is all that’s left for us.

HELL DESCRIBED

Psalms 55:15 says, Let death seize them; let them go down alive into hell, for wickedness is in their dwellings and among them.  When someone goes to hell, they are alive.  The Hebrew word for alive is chay, khahee, which means raw in flesh, wild beast, company, old, running, and quick.  With this definition, I think of hell as soon as you physically die, are judged and immediately afterwards you enter hell, with your same problems as you had on earth.  It will be packed with people acting like wild animals, wanting to get out but they can’t.  It also says we will be raw flesh; at all times we will be flesh.  The word raw means to be in a natural condition; not processed or refined, not finished, covered, or coated, having subcutaneous tissue exposed as an open wound, or nude; naked.

Proverbs 27:20 says, Hell and Destruction are never full; so are the eyes of man are never satisfied. I believe hell is like a water balloon, the more people that are in hell, the more it expanse, and it is always packed.  Destruction in this passage in Hebrew is abaddoh ab-ad-do, which means something lost, perishing, which is from the word abad aw-bad which means lose oneself, wander away, not escape, fail, lose, perish, spend, or have no way to flee.  This verse explains a lot on how to get there, it is saying its up to us because we loose our self or wander away from the truth, and when we get there, we have no way to leave.  Hell will be full of fire.  Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.  See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity.  The tongue is so set among out members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell James 3:5,6.  This is saying that our tongue wants to sin, in this world of sin.  Our tongue is one of the things that bring us to hell, and puts the fire in hell.  Proverbs 18:21 says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. In the Parable of the rich man and the beggar, in Luke 16:19-31, explains how one who is in hell will feel.

In Luke 16:25, 26 it says, But Abraham said, Son remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he Is comforted and you are tormented.  And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from their pass to us.  The good things in this world are here to mislead us into believing that life is about the possession on the earth.  When a Christian is on earth, he finds no pleasure in the world, or the things in it.  Our treasures are in heaven.  This also mentions something about hell.  Nothing will be able to enter if you are outside of it or no one will be able to leave if you’re in hell, because of a gulf that keeps people from entering or leaving.

Psalm 6:5 says, for in death there is no remembrance of you; in the grave who will give you thanks?  If you are in hell you will be forgotten.  No one will be able to even mention your name, because the ones in heaven will not remember you.  Imagine if you have a brother or sister, one is a Christian and the other isn’t if the sibling doesn’t turn to God the Christian will not remember the other sibling, even if its your mother, or father, the same goes.  You may ask why, I believe when we are in heaven, we will be so consumed with God that we wont want to do anything but worship Him.  We will be so lost in His presence that we wont even think of anything but Him.  The ones that want to be known all over the earth and even after their death will be forgotten, because they didn’t give their life to God.  God is what life is about.  Nothing else, its as simple as that.

 THE BENEFITS OF HELL

Hell only has one thing to look forward to, this thing is mentioned in Isaiah 14:9-11 it says, Hell from beneath is excited about you, to meet you at your coming; it stirs up the dead for you, all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.  They all shall speak and say to you: Have you also become as weak as we?  Have you become like us?  Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, and the sound of your stringed instruments; the maggot is spread under you, and worms cover you. How you are fallen from heaven O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations.  Hell is waiting for Satan to come, in fact hell is excited or ragaz raw-gas means to quiver with violent emotion, out of anger or fear, stand in awe, disquiet, fall out, fret, inove, provoke, quake, rage, shake, tremble, trouble, and be wroth. Pomp means to swell, or be proud.  When and before he gets there, they will be furious, full of anger, hate, and bitterness.  They will mock him and be glad that he is finally in hell where he belongs.  All that are in hell will be covered with maggots and worms.  They will torment them at all times.  They will continue to eat at them because the ones in hell will always be flesh.

There isn’t a lot to look forward to in hell.  I believe the seconds will feel like hours and minutes like days in hell.  Just imagine being there for eternity, never leaving or having a break.  There is nothing to cool you down.  All that is in hell is pain because of the fire maggots, and other things, torment because of the time, uncomforted because of everyone being so close together, hurting, both emotionally and physically, and guilt because when you are in hell that’s it, there is no turning back, you only live life once.  Only one person can choose whether we go there or not, that is us.

Romans 6:23 says, the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  What is it going to be sin or death?  You decide.  It is so simple to receive Jesus.  The hardest part is living everyday of your life for Him.  There are times when being a Christian is great and then there are times when it is tough.  Romans 5:21says, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  We have grace handed down to us, from when Jesus died on the cross.  No matter how bad you think your sin is, it can be forgiven.  Just keep the word of God at all times, this is all you have to do.  John 8:51 says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”  This is the promise of Jesus and (Jesus God and Holy Spirit, are all in one accord meaning everything they believe in is the same) He will never go back on His word.
